Soundbites Week!

From Saturday 14th September until Friday 20th September we will be doing street interviews and recordings, getting ‘soundbites’ from the people of Gloucestershire over the next week starting this Saturday! We’ll be asking what does poetry mean to them, what are their favourite poems and whether they want to nominate themselves or another Gloucestershire poet for the Laureateship.  If you are a poet and want to come and share your views and maybe a piece of poetry for the Soundbites Week at the Gloucestershire Poet Laureate Soundcloud Channel, then come along during this week and share some poetry too!  You can find us at the following locations during the week:

Saturday 14th September we will be in Cheltenham on The Promenade ( by the statue of The Hare ) at 11am – 11.30am and then at Boots Corner at 11.30-12pm. Then later on we’ll be in Gloucester on LLantony Road ( by the Dock railings ) at 3pm – 3.40pm. Then at The Cross at 3.50pm – 4.30pm.
